Is there an inexpensive but good voice recorder that has software that will convert the voice to text?

by on July 6, 2011

Q: I’m looking for an inexpensive voice recorder for college lectures. This means a recorder with a very sensitive mic, usb connectivity, long battery life and can be easily converted to voice to print software. I don’t want to spend over 100. I have no clue where to start looking, or what brand, so any help is appreciated thanks.

I suggest you check out some of these best selling digital voice recorders on amazon: http://amzn.to/oo98Rl

The only issue you’re going to run into is “voice to text”. You’re not going to be able to take recordings of professors and turn it into text that is accurate enough to use for studying lessons. For best results, listen and take your own notes.
