How can I install Mac OS X on my computer running Windows XP?

Q: i am using win Xp with four NTFS partitions and a free space.i want to install Mac OS in that free space…i have a mac os cd but iam unable to boot from it…can u help me install the Mac OS in it.i need guidelines for that..if iam missing anything please let me know..thanks..Sankar

    OS X is not officially supported on anything other than an Apple computer. It is possible to install with a fair bit of work, but it can be unstable or cause issues with your computer.

    If you want to run it as an additional operating system I suggest that you run it as a virtual PC instead of as a separate boot.

      thanks mark…i was relly hoping to avoid the virtual PC situation.but as u say the stability is more important than that..anyway thanks for ur help
