How come I get not responding errors when trying to load web pages for the first 30 minutes after I boot up my computer?

Q: On start-up I go to a web page and the page opens but freezes. I try to refresh the page but get “not responding” in the address bar. This also happens with windows media player, Windows games and other programs. After 30 minutes the problems correct themselves and the computer runs normally. I am using IE9 browser, and have 2 tool bars. The computer is an Acer Aspire 5610-2328 with dual hard drives. I have about 3GB of free space on main hard drive.

  1.

I’m guessing you have a large number of programs set to run on system start up. Your computer needs a good spring cleaning!

Uninstall unused toolbar programs and any other programs you downloaded and installed on the computer but don’t use.

If you require assistance I can perform a remote service call for a fee to clean up the computer for you.
