How come download accelerator in google chrome fails to connect to the Internet?

Q: Hi i have windows 7, I have problems with “google chrome, Download accelerator plus” It fails to connect to internet. i have a belkin wirlesss adaptor witch connects to my router downstairs, i have excellent signal strengh :>
I have allowed permission through my mcaffe anti virus. But still dont work

    When did you start to experience this issue?
    Does uninstalling Download Accelerator Plus fix the issue?
    Does your internet work with another web browser?
