How can I get audio files into my Windows Media Player?

by on September 30, 2011

Q: I use Final Video Downloader to grab videos from youtube and convert them to audio files only and would like to know how to get those files into my Windows Media Player after the conversion process I am using Windows Vista on an Acer computer that has been refurbished?

Hello Mark. What I am trying to do is save video files that I have converted into audio files from youtube using Final Video Downloader into my Windows Media Player so will dragging work for what I am trying to do?

Once you’ve created the audio files you should be able to just double-click on them to play them in Media player, or right click on them select ‘Open With’ and chose the program from the list.

How are you Mark?…Sorry to be such a bother but I stuck my foot in a jam by telling someone that I would/could figure it out…but it is stumping me…here is what is happening once I go to YouTube and grab the video and copy the link into Final Video Downloader to convert the video file into audio files mp3 format everything works just fine…but what it is not allowing me to do is save the files…period…it did it one time and has not since then…in the meantime I will try and grab a screenshot of it when I do it again and perhaps there is a way to send that to you so you can get a better idea of what is and what is not happening…

Sounds like a problem with the video downloader tool.

Make sure you’re using the latest version of the program, if you’re still having trouble I’d contact the developer: http://www.finalvideodownloader.com/contact.html
