Q: On a computer running Vista where a password for access has been established and then forgotten, how does one “reset” to allow access? The “F” button options on startup do not seem to offer any solution.

    Try this tool: http://pogostick.net/~pnh/ntpasswd/

Be sure read all instructions completely before using it.
