    yes you can. Are you trying to use it as storage or as an extra boot device?

    If you plug in the drive you should have no problems using it as extra storage. or to copy files and folders over.

    I need to run a program from that hard drive for my business and it has several other peices of software embedded in it. I do not have the software to simply reinstall and I’m out of hdd space.

    You will be able to plug the drive in as a secondary drive. Depending on the programs there is a chance that they won’t operate correctly without being re-installed. You’ll need to just give it a try and see how it goes.
