Is an external hard drive’s transfer rate good enough for gaming?

Q: Is an external hard drive’s transfer rate good enough for gaming? I need to change out my hard drive for a bigger one so basically internal or external?

For best results you should replace your existing harddrive with the new one, making it your primary drive. Use your old drive for extra storage if you need it.

The reason for this is that odds are your new harddrive is going to be a good bit faster and bigger than your old one. Since Windows will be running of the new drive as well, your overall system performance should be improved too.
