How come some of the pages I go to visit are in Russian?

It happens on twitter netflix and now when i need to go to a site for homework it doesn’t work. this has been happening for a couple months now, but my computer is fairly new; 1 year. I’ve checked for malware and such using Norton 360. any reasons or possibilities this is happening. I’m really getting tired of it. Please help.
Are you running Windows 7? Have you tried a different browser like Chrome?
Did Windows come with the computer when you purchased it?
