Why do comments in my Word 2007 document disappear when I email the document?

Q: Why are comments logged at the side of my 2007 Word document disappearing after I save it to a server or e-mail the document?

    I would have the user email the document back to you and see if you can still see the comments. If you can still see the comments when you get the document back it means they have a setting on their end that is hiding the comments. I suspect this is the problem so just confirm first and then look at the settings in your word and their word to figure out exactly what the difference is.
