How can I stop my browser from having about.blank?

Q: regarding the “about.blank” issue, as I was saying I need a relatively easy and plain fix, as I am not computer savy at all, I struggle, yet I have to be very dependent on my computers.I have one windows xp3 and one windows 7.

    It depends on what web browser you are using. You should be able to go into preferences and look around and set your homepage.

    If you have a homepage set then the problem is you have a virus. To remove your virus I suggest making sure you have Microsoft Security Essentials installed.
