Is there a way for people with slow internet connections to be able to download movies to watch them later?
by hillgal on March 5, 2012Q: I have a friend who has DSLl but it’s in a rural area where service bogs down tremendously and I’m constantly hearing her moan about the slowness and constant buffering of Netflix, youtube, etc. She loves to watch movies & such, so I thought a great gift would be a way for her to actually download them to her computer so she could watch later, uninterrupted. Is there a service where I could buy her a subscription? Thanks!

Hi Hillgal, Unfortunately due to copyright laws it is not possible to pre-download any netflix or youtube videos. The only way that I can think of to get around this is try to work with the ISP on upgrading the internet circuit to a higher bandwidth.
