Is there a cable that has an ethernet connection on one end and an HDMI on the other or some way to make a connection without doing it wirelessly?
by adfan on March 10, 2012Q: We want to buy a new smaller TV for our bedroom, but want to be able to connect with our ethernet connection that we have right on the wall rather than use anything wireless (the speed is so much better.) I haven’t found any smaller tv’s that come with an ethernet receiver built in. Is there a cable that has an ethernet connection on one end and an HDMI on the other or some way to make a connection without doing it wirelessly?

I did a little bit of looking for TVs with ethernet options on them and the smallest I could find was a 32″ which sounds like it still may be too big.
As well if a TV does not have wireless or an Ethernet port the internet probably will not be supported on it. I have been using Wireless on my TV for several months now and have no problems with connectivity speeds.
I did find a HDMI cable that does support ethernet connectivity. I am not sure if this would help you though. http://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-High-Speed-HDMI-Cable-Meters/dp/B003L1ZYYM
If you have more questions please ask.
