Is there a way to get my Xbox and desktop computer that do not support WiFi connected to my WiFi network?

by on April 18, 2012

Q: My modem is in my basement, while my room is on the top floor. We have wireless in our house, however neither my Xbox 360 or desktop computer have wireless, which I want to connect to the internet.
Is there a piece of hardware that I can put in my room which will connect to my modem via wifi and then I can plug my Xbox and computer into the hardware via Ethernet?

A wireless bridge should do the trick, assuming your wireless signal is strong enough reach your room.
