What HD video card will work with my Gateway Desktop?
by ED141839 on May 5, 2012Q: I have a Gateway Desktop. (details: http://us.gateway.com/gw/en/US/content/model/PT.GCPP2.003)
I want to play NFS Hot Pursuit 2010 on my PC, full HD, no lag. (I already can play the game and have a full HD monitor) Can you suggest a video card I can add to my desktop, but not too pricey? I need it to be able to play full hd and no lag.
(Am I also correct that I cannot take out the video card in it already because it is integrated, but I can add one though, correct?)

This should be a solid option for you:

Make note of the size of the card on the details tab to make sure that it will actually fit in your case.
I ran your system specs through this site:

At it appears that your existing 300W power supply *should* be fine. If you have any performance issues consider upgrading to a 450W well reviewed power supply.
