Do all computers come with preloaded software?

by on August 5, 2012

Q: i have not purchased a new computer in a number of years (8). My last came with a number of software programs already installed and did not require the purchase of activation keys. Is it always the case now that you must buy activation keys for “Preloaded” software?

  1.

Depends on the laptop. You may want to ask the sales person if you are buying it from a retail store or you may need to select it as an option if ordering offline.

Usually the programs pre installed are junk programs. It comes with a Office 2010 installer and you have to enter a key or use the free version which is word and excel.

So yes they come with pre installed software just may not be exactly what you are looking for. Make sure to inquire before purchasing.
