Will parental controls stop people from looking at things they should not be looking at?

Q: My husband looks at porn, he has AOL, I put parental control on his screen name and he knows it, can he view porn by any other means?

  1.

Unfortunately there are always ways around unless there is no access to the computer or the computer has no internet.

If you put parental controls on his AOL screen name that will only block him in AOL, if you have broadband service that is always connected any web browser like Internet Explorer or Chrome can be used to go to sites and advert the parental controls in AOL. There are programs like cyber sitter and net nanny that can be used to block on the whole PC.

If you would like more information on using these tools I can try to be of assistance.
