How come my computer freezes within a minute or two of boot?

I get to the start up screen and then will run maybe a minute and mouse will just freeze sometimes I can restart a few times and the computer will be fine. Today I restarted five times with no luck. In the past week I have defraged and run disc cleanup also did spybot and avg scan. Please advise not that computer savy…
Unfortunately this type of problem is really tricky to diagnose remotely. The general process here would be to work via a process of elimination to try to determine what software and components are working fine, and what isn’t.
If your not all that computer savy my best suggestion for you would be to take your computer to a local repair shop for them to take a look at it.
