How come my computer cannot find the local profile?

by on November 11, 2012

Q: I have the same problem and cannot solve it even after the previous postings. I am posting a summary of the problem here:

When a user tries to log in from his Web client, he receives the following two error messages:

1. Windows cannot load the locally stored profile. Possible causes of this error include insufficient rights or a corrupt local profile. If the problem persists, contact your network administrator.

2. Windows cannot find the local profile and is logging you in with a temporary profile. Changes you make to this profile will be lost when you log off.

After that I Create a new account and then I don’t see this error any more but my files is’nt there and my windows interface is’nt like the past!!!!

I want my important file!! Please help me…
What should I’ve done???
Thanks a lot.

  1.

Did you post your eariler questions under a different username? I’m not able to locate them.

What “web client” are you talking about?

Is this an issue with a home computer, or at work?

If at work, have you contacted your IT department for assistance?

Is this a widespread issue impacting multiple people, or just you?

What version of Windows is having this problem?
