Can an Intel U2700 1.3GHz processor run a 64bit operating system?
by spymarco on December 16, 2012Q: i have an intel u2700 1.30GHz processor and 4 gig ram running a 32 bit OS. i would like to have a 64 bit OS. and i’m not sure how to install the software from the manufacturer of my laptop. i don’t have the restore cd for it.
According to this page from Intel, that CPU will support a 64bit OS:

If you don’t have installation disks for 64bit Windows, talk to your laptop manufacturer and see if they can send you 64-bit Windows installation/restore disks.
