How do I connect my Hp 2230sa pc 15.6″ to my techknika 22″ television?

Q: How do i connect my Hp 2230sa pc 15.6″ to my techknika 22″ television. The pc has one vga and one hdmi. Im not sure if the vga is an input or output. The tv has a hdmi input and a vga but again im not sure if the vga is an input or an output. What would be the cheapest and best way to connect the two so that i can watch things from my pc onto my tv.

    Use an HDMI cable and hook one end into your laptop and one end into your TV. That should be about it!

    For cheap HDMI cables (that will work just as well as any $50 cable) checkout amazon.com or monoprice.com
