Is it possible to develop software in JAVA that will find holes in a website to help developers fix them?

Q: is it possible to design software in java to find loopholes in the websites to help the developers to fix them?if possible then how?

    It really depends on what you mean by loopholes. If you mean security threats/holes then yes you could do that. There are a number of companies out there like McAfee Secure that do not only do their own testing but they run what are called PCI tests.

    PCI is a security standard that is set to make sure that sites that process credit card transactions are secure for those using the site.

    I suggest doing some research and if you want to get into the field start with writing some tests for cross site scripting exploits of forms since those are the easiest to test for.
