Will a game capture card work in my computer with a 1.65GHz processor when they require 1.8GHz?

Q: I want to buy a game capture card but every card i look at it needs 1.8 ghz and my computer processor only has 1.65. Everything else is as good if not better than all of the other requirments so i was wondering if it would work with my computer and if it did what that would do to the footage

“Ghz” is not a valid performance measurement for a CPU.

If you’re more familiar with cars, Ghz is kind of like the RPM in an engine.

You’d never say one car is faster than another car because the engine runs at a higher RPM.

If the game capture card offers more details on a suggested CPU, check out http://www.cpubenchmark.net/ look up a processor that they say will work, and then find yours on their CPU chart s and see how they stack up.
