Can I upgrade my video card and will upgrading increase my frames per second?

by on February 19, 2013

Q: I’m getting a very low amount of fps on my computer. I have an AMD A6-3650 APU processor and my graphics card is an AMD Radeon HD 6530D. I was wondering if I could put a AMD Radeon 7970 in my computer? And if that would solve my fps problem

    Hi Rockthered,
As long as the card is compatible with your operating system and it will fit in the came PCI slot then you should be all set. This should increase your overall gaming experience! You may also want to check to see what you have for RAM installed in your computer and upgrade that as well. This can usually help your performance.
