How come I cannot get on the Internet when my router seems to be setup correctly?

Q: My router IP is 192.168.1.250 which is using for application my Internet IP is 192.168.1.245 and my pdc IP is 192.168.1.7 for the default gateway is 250 and in preferred DNS I put Internet IP the Internet is running on pdc which is main source for Internet but it is not running on client.

    Howdy – It seems as though you have everything set up correctly. Lets try a couple of tests.
    From your workstation try the following.

    1. Open command prompt.
    2. Type “Ping 192.168.1.250” (no quotes) (Router IP). If successful move onto the next step.
    3. Type “ping 8.8.8.8” If successful move onto the next step.
    4. type “ping http://www.google.com” if successful move onto the next step.
    If you did not complete all of these steps successfully, let me know which one did not respond.

    now that we’ve verified that we can get out to the internet lets confirm that your settings on a computer should be like the following.

    IP Address: 192.168.1.x (x meaning any number between 0-255 which DHCP assigns or you manually assign)
    Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
    DNS: 192.168.1.250 (set it to this for now to confirm that dns is working)
    Default Gateway: 192.168.1.250

    Try the above settings and let me know if you can get out.
