Is there anyway to make my razer megalodon gaming headset compatible with my PS3?
by CAKEenCHOC on March 8, 2013Q: Hi, I just bought a razer megalodon(USB). I really like the headset, but there is one problem. It isn’t compatible with my PS3. Are there any cables that maybe are able to transform the signal to usb?
Found these instructions on this site: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20120414041259AA17xPl
1 Plug the connection cable from the Razer Megalodon headset into the “Headset” port at the base of the Maelstrom Audio Engine.
2 Plug the HDMI connection cable from the Maelstrom Audio Engine into the “HDMI” port in the back of the PS3 gaming console.
3 Press the “Power” button on the PS3 console to turn it on.
4 Scroll to the “Audio Setting” option in the main menu and select the “Razer Megalodon” option.
5 Press the “X” button to save the setting.
If that doesnt work please let me know.
Thank you

Hey.. Well that doesn’t really work.. A headset doesn’t have a HDMI output/input.. So yeah, it doesn’t work that way.

Sorry, the razer megalodon is only compatible with Windows PCs.
