Q: My ps3 can’t find my router I reset my ps3 still can’t please help

This could be caused by a couple of things. I’ll try to give you a few basic things to check assuming that other devices on your network can connect to the internet…
1. If your PS3 is connecting to your router over a wireless connection, Check to see if you are using some sort of encryption on your wireless network. If you are, Make sure that you have the wireless encryption password entered correctly.
1a. You’ll also want to make sure that you are within range of your wireless router in the house, Make sure you can see the SSID (name) of your wireless router signal.
2. If you are connecting over a wired connection, Make sure that your NIC light is illuminated on the back of the PS3. Also, make sure that you are running DHCP on your router, This will assign the PS3 an IP Address and give it the proper DNS/Gateway information as well.
In both cases DHCP applies. IF DHCP is not running and you don’t assign a static IP Address, you will not get out to the internet. If you can provide more information on your router I can find detailed instructions on verifying that DHCP is setup.
