Is everything I look at stored on my external hard drive automaticly?

Q: Is everything I look at stored on my external hard drive automatic. For example I go to my e-mail account? I watch a youtube video? a short porn clip? 🙂

    Keeg – No, typically nothing as far as browsing or things that you watch are stored on an external hard drive. Usually a lot of things can be stored on your internal local hard drive though without you knowing.
    These types of things include but are not limited to…..
    – Web Browsing History
    – Web Browsing Cache/cookies
    – Web Browsing Temp files.
    – Small downloaded video’s/pictures.

    All of this stuff is typically stored on your computer without you knowing. Keep in mind that a lot of things can be recovered from your hard drive even if they are erased.
    In order for your data to be 100% erased, The area on the drive needs to be overwritten seven (7) times according to DOD Standards.
