How do you figure out what memory management scheme an operating system is using?

Q: hi !
my question is very simple. I want to know how we can find what memory management scheme is our operating system use ?
And also how can we know which assembler or linker or loader system is using.
offcourse one way is thorough the os system disk.But suppose You are working some where on some operating system and You dont have the disk so how do you find wether the system using segmentation ,virtual memory, paging or multi level pagin or somthine else ?
Is ther commands in different os system to find memory management scheme ?

second i want to know how can we know how many register my cpu has though operating system .
And what is the length of registers, how many thread operating system is using.

    The best way to learn that is through Google searches and reading developer documentation for that operating system.
