    Hey Wain,
There are a couple of possibilities as to why these may not be working. First off, What kind of computer are you using? I ask this because this is a common issue with home built systems. Sometimes the USB ports are physically there but they may not be plugged into the motherboard. You can check these connections if you remove the side cover and find where the USB ports are from the inside and trace the wires back. make sure that they are plugged into the motherboard. **If you open your computer be very careful not to touch anything or unplug anything**

The other thing it could be is make sure that all of your device drivers are installed. You can view this by opening up “Device Manager”. Depending on what version of windows you are running you should be able to find this in your Control Panel under Admin Tools or by Right clicking on “my Computer or Computer” and going to manage. You will see “Device Manager” On the left hand pane.

Let me know what you end up finding.
