How come my Atrix Motorola cell phone will not connect to the Internet?

Q: my atrix motorola cell phone will not connect to the internet. Is there a setting i can check for.

    Hi Linda – First let me ask, Is this phone currently activated with a valid service plan? This will be required if you’re trying to connect over your service providers 3G-4G wireless service.

    If you’re trying to connect over Wi-Fi you need to make sure that you have WI-FI turned on, enabled, and configured to your wireless network. You can confirm that it is turned on by doing the following…

    1. Click on the home button.
    2. Scroll down to Settings.
    3. Check the “Wi-Fi” section and see if there is a checkbox which indicates that wireless is enabled.
    4. Click on “Manage wireless networks” to configure your wireless.
    5. Once confirmed that you are connected you can try to browse to http://www.google.com to see if the page loads.
