Why does my Seagate FreeAgent Go work perfectly in Windows 7 but in Windows XP it says it is corrupted?

Q: Why does my Seagate FreeAgent Go work perfectly in Windows 7, but when I try to access it in Windows XP, it says it is corrupted. It also says that the file system is RAW. The Seagate manager doesn’t detect any problems with it though.

  1.

I suggest contacting Seagate support and/or posting on the office forums for assistance on this one: http://forums.seagate.com/t5/FreeAgent-Products/bd-p/freeagent

RickyyyyRicardo – check this link about second post down.

They state that they try to use a seagate recovery tool. This may be of assistance.
