Q: Can I move a boot drive, with Windows 7, to another computer that has no boot drive?

You can move the HDD to a new PC but you may have problems. Windows 7 should detect new hardware and install it and request a reboot. You may also want to make sure you have the drivers downloaded to a disk as well in case you need them.
With that being said a clean install of Windows 7 is always suggested to decrease the chance of any problems.
