Can I take the RAM out of a Dell Inspiron 9200 and put it in a Dell Inspiron 600m?

Q: I have an old inspiron 600m and I want to take the memory out of an inspiron 9200 and put it in the dell 600m will it work?

    Both of these laptops use the exact same memory, so you can swap the memory around without a problem.

    That said, each of these laptops only have two memory slots and they are probably both filled, so you won’t be able to combine all the memory into one laptop.

    If you want to update to the maximum supported 2GB of memory for the 600m, you’ll need to purchase two 1GB sticks of memory.
