Q: The batteries leaked in a remote control for my stereo. I can’t get a replacement (discontinued). Can I clean it out?

Cleaning battery acid from a remote should be a simple task. Follow the steps in the following article using a qtip

You can also look into a universal remote as well to replace the old remote if it is still not working.
