How come my video gets jumpy when I transfer it to my computer but is fine on the camera?

by on January 1, 2013

Q: I’m transferring a home video to my laptop but a section of the video that plays fine in the camera viewfinder appears jumpy in the monitor and recording. The rest of the recording is fine, however, this section, even when I try to record just this bit on its own as a seperate recording won’t run smoothly. I’m using Roxio Easy VHS to DVD software and the Roxio video capture USB with a new modern laptop (Windows 7)
Thanks.

I have a digital camera that records video but the sound quality isn’t good. Is there a way to plug it in to my laptop and set it up to where it records video onto the computer while recording sound from a mic?

I plan on making drum covers and I need good sound quality in order to do so. If you know a way to do this PLEASE tell me cause i really need to know.

How come the screen on my Sony Hybrid Camcorder is too bright?

by on July 4, 2010

Q: I have a Sony Hybrid Camcorder (DCR-DVD610E) and my problem is with the lighting settings. When recording or taking a picture the lighting is extremely too bright outdoors and the colours indoors are off. There is also a symbol that resembles an eye at the top middle of the screen. Please help me. It wont let me change the scene selection and I’ve already restarted it. I don’t know what to do. I’ve also turned off the night modes.

How can I connect my video camera to my laptop and then to a projector?

by on June 27, 2010

Q: I have a video camera with rca components that could connect to a video LCD projector. The problem is that the projector is mounted high in the rafters and not easily accessible. I want to use the camera to capture the image of someone speaking to the audience and show on the video screen. What adapter or cable can I use that will convert the RCA video to USB so that when the computer is connected to the projector, I have live image on the screen? I have a Panasonic SFR-H85.
