How similar is a Panasonic Lumix DMCFX07 to a DMCFX37?

by kdoesnotlikeyou on September 1, 2009

Q: Recently, my Panasonic Lumix DMCFX07 camera stopped working. I sent it in for an exchange of the same model and was told that my model is not available. They told me that they could swap it with a Panasonic Lumix DMCFX37. How similar is this camera to my old one? I am really looking for a camera as close to my old one as I can get and would like to know how this one ranks and if it is worth it.

Calibrate your monitor

by matt on August 23, 2009

Q: I am having color issues with Adobe Photoshop Elements 6.0, my printer, and my digital camera. The picture on my computer screen is completely different than the one that comes out of the printer and the camera. How can I fix this?

A: Since the Camera and the printer show the correct colors then I would suggest we concentrate on the monitor. The best option would be to get a hardware based calibration system like the ColorVision Spyder2 Express or the Pantone huey. These devices are easy to use and will automatically calibrate your system so that the colors are correct. The Pantone huey stays connected to your system so that it can constantly update your settings based on the change in light in the room.

How come my pictures and video get deleted off my memory card when I copy them over to my computer?

by byrdy81 on May 7, 2009

Q: I have a Nikon Coolpix s550 camera. Ever since I’ve had it, whenever I put the memory card into the computer and edit any pictures (thinking they’ll be saved back onto the disk edited) they are deleted off the memory card and it says “File No Longer Available” or something like that.

I just had a bunch of concert videos and pictures on the memory card. I edited some pictures and “copied” the pictures and videos to a folder on my computer. I put the memory card back into the computer and everything was gone except a few pictures.

I tried putting everything back on the memory card but it says there isn’t enough room. I also put all the videos back on the memory card, it shows they’re there on computer, but in the camera they don’t show up.

How come my pictures sometimes get deleted for no reason off my memory card?

by KoriWatson on April 15, 2009

Q: I take pictures on my Olympus xD picture card and then I put it in my HP laptop. Sometimes it is fine, others it turns my pictures grey or just deletes them all together. I do not know what it wrong, or even which is making it do that. This is my second picture card, I got a new one because it did it to the 1st one also.

Transfer A Picture From Your Computer To A Camera

by Angela on April 10, 2008

Q: I have a Kodak EasyShare C613 digital camera and am wondering if I can transfer a picture from my computer to my camera?

A: You can do this. If you connect your camera to your PC and then double click My Computer and then double click on the camera drive that is showing. If you open the camera you should then be able to drag and drop your picture onto your camera.
