Q: I recently installed a new hard drive in a Dell XPS 400. I had to purchase a recovery disk from Dell since one was sent on original purchase. I could not access the Internet which I found out later that I needed to reload the drivers. After downloading the driver for the Intel pro 1000 pl, I installed it, but still cannot gain Internet access.
Q: Dell xps 400 w/ unmountable_boot_volume however, the disc drive shut off 10 seconds after starting up. I can’t run the disc to fix UBV.

Read Question HereQ: I recently switched out a dead monitor and replaced it with a 17″ KDS Visual Sensations monitor manufactured in 1999 that was given to me. I have a Dell Demensions 2400 Series purchased in 2003 with Windows XP. The problem arises when I boot up my system. The cursor shows up in the lower right hand corner slightly larger than it should be. The Windows login screen then comes up as if someone zoomed in on the upper left hand corner of the screen. In order to get to a normal size screen, I have to turn off the system holding the startup key on the CPU. Sometimes after turning off the system it will boot up with the normal size login screen and sometimes it takes several reboots. What can be done to fix this image problem?
Q: I have a Dell Dimension 4700. When I start it up it’s asking for a password and I don’t remember putting one on it. Is there anyway around this?
It tells me my password hint is my names but I have tried every combination but no joy.
Q: How do I reformat my Dell computer?
Read Answer HereQ: I’m looking to buy a new laptop. I’d like one with a fast processor, 320 or above 7200rpm hard drive, one upgradable to a minimum of 6 to 8 gb ram, and a dedicated graphics card. I want it from a maker that stands by their warranty and has a good reputation. I have 4 Dells and would prefer not to buy from dell again.
