How come email no longer goes into my sent box?

by tamcapital on September 8, 2010

Q: All my emails I now send are not showing in my sent items box. All the other ones are there but new emails I send are not showing. I have only started using read receipts and it was suggest that they were jamming my email? On the bottom of the outlook tool bar its is saying sending message 1 of 10 but never seems to clear itself? It was suggested to download a program from Microsoft called MDBVU32.EXE. I went through the instructions but can’t seem to fix it?

Is it possible for a PDF file to increase in size when it is emailed?

by SR on September 3, 2010

Q: Using yahoo mail and windows 7 ultimate I sent an email with an attached pdf file to a friend . My PDF’s size was 370 KB.

My friend insists that the PDF he received was almost 10 times larger (being 3.51 MB)! He is on windows 7 Live Mail (Microsoft). I could not believe that and I told him that he obviously makes a mistake.

So, for evidence, we both provided each other with jpg captures showing the different sizes!

Then, for testing purposes I sent the same PDF to another email address (G Mail) and they confirmed that the size of the file received there was the same with that of my outgoing file (370KB),

I cannot understand how this can be done. If I am to believe the first recipient then we have to accept that an outgoing file might possibly be increased in size as much as ten times before reaching a recipient!

Is that at all possible?

Can someone get into my Yahoo mail account using their blackberry?

by corn on June 9, 2010

Q: I have a Blackberry. Someone I’ve been seeing grabbed mine. . The dude also has a Blackberry. He recently picked up mine and starting fiddling with it. I thought nothing of it.

Last night I noticed that in the applications menu, under “tools” my email password was disabled. I reset the password thingy to password enabled. Now it’s disabled again.

Can another Blackberry user get into my Yahoo account from his own device if that password is disabled?

What does it mean when my email client tells me that parts of the email are unencrypted?

by RowZgirl on June 8, 2010

Q: On certain emails I get a message/warning that the content is in part unencrypted and may be easily seen by others. (not verbatim) Does this mean that there may be spyware or some kind of tracker placed in my computer when I open these emails?
