Q: Ever since I bought and installed Uniblue powersuite2009, I get the following error message: “The Catalyst Control Centre is not supported by the driver version of your graphics adapter. Please update your graphics driver or enable it using the Displays Manager”. The driver is updated and enabled. What can I do to get rid of this message?

How come I am unable to open my pictures after backing up my files using winzip and running uniblue registry booster?

by Guest Geek on February 8, 2009

Q: I was downloading files and images into winzip12. Everything went into Microsoft Office Picture. I have a Dell computer with home Vista on it. About 80% of my files are in Microsoft Office Picture and none of the pictures can be opened. When I try all I get is a icon of Microsoft when I open each program. I cannot restore, my games, internet explorer and yahoo messenger is also caught up in it. I had just downloaded and ran Uniblue Reistry Booster 2 before downloading into winzip. First time I had this problem.

Problems With Uniblue Registry Booster And WordPerfect 3

by Mark on January 21, 2008

Q: After I do a Uniblue Registry Booster, my computer (Gateway GT5228, XP Home Edition) decidedly improves. But I lose my MAPPI Address Book in WordPerfect 3, so I have to restore the old registry. How can I avoid losing the address book while still affecting an appropriate scan?

A: I’d suggest that you contact Uniblue with details of this, since it might be a bug in their software. Make sure you’re running the latest version of their software just incase this is something that they’ve fixed.

If that doesn’t work and you’re unable to get any help from the Uniblue people, I have another work-around you can try. While I haven’t used WordPerfect 3, I’d image that you should be able to export a copy of the address book, run Uniblue, and then re-import your address book. It wouldn’t be a bad idea to have a backup of your address book anyway!

Registry Modifications With Uniblue RegistryBooster

by matt on May 23, 2007

An Into Tomorrow listener submitted the following question!

Q: A friend of my recently downloaded Uniblue RegistryBooster. After running the scan it told him he had over 400 problems with his registry. My question is how good of a program is Uniblue RegistryBooster? In order to fix the problems in his registry he has to purchase the program so is it a good idea or should we look for a free program that does the same thing?

A: Anyone who is considering using a program to modify their registry should know that the Windows registry is an important part of their computer. If something were to go wrong with the registry is very possible that the computer could stop working. So you should back up your registry before doing any kind of modifications to it and you should think very carefully before using a free registry tool to automatically modify your registry.

Uniblue is a Microsoft Certified Partner, which more or less means they meet certain requirements set forth by Microsoft and pay a fee to Microsoft and in return they get access to Microsoft direct tech support and some other things. Why is this good? This is good because it lets us know they went the extra mile to make sure their product is a good product that works so you can trust it to do what it says it does.

Our friends over at InfoPackets.com have a review of Uniblue RegistryBooster, which also quotes a few other reviews. If you are interested in hearing more about Uniblue RegistryBooster you should head over and read the review.
