Q: I have a 2006 Compaq that has Windows Vista. Recently the keyboard is not typing correctly. It takes about 10 seconds for a letter to type at a time. I just got internet service and the repairman says it looks like I have a virus or I need a new keyboard. So I went out and bought a new keyboard and it still does the same. The computer also runs very slow. I ran something called a CCleaner. I’m not sure if that was supposed to get rid of the virus or even tell me if I had one. Please help me if you can!!
Q: My windows Vista premium freezes up shortly after turning on computer. It will release after about 30 seconds. It will run ok for about 5 minutes and do it again. Sometimes as many as 6-7 times before it starts to work properly. This all started after Best Buy techs loaded Vista onto my computer.
Q: I was online the other day & my hand, with the mouse in it, got bumped. The webpage I was on minimized & went off to the side at a 45 degree angle. I could then see my desktop with the webpage off to the side at an angle. What did I do? I just clicked & dragged it back to the foreground & everything was fine. How can I do this again? I thought it was pretty cool. I use Vista, if that helps.

Q: My Vista laptop and my XP desktop are connected on the same network. My printer is connected to my desktop and I’m attempting to print from my laptop. I’ve installed the printer on my laptop, but when I attempt to print it says that an error has occurred. Also, before I was able to “install” the printer it said something about a .inf file not being found. What should I do?
Q: I’m running Vista on a Sony Vaio. I shut it down improperly and received the dreaded “0xc000014c: Windows failed to load because the system registry file is missing, or corrupt.”
I have tried to reboot it using EVERY instruction they give but all roads lead to the same error screen. I don’t have the installation disc as it was already installed when I purchased it. Since the beginning, Vista has been one giant pain in the ass. I want to install Windows 7. My question is, Do I need to get the installation disc, reinstall Vista using the “repair my computer “option or can I go ahead and install Windows 7 and select the same option?
