Changing Windows Wallpaper In A Jiffy

by on December 14, 2007

Q: How do I delete my current wallpaper on my computer’s monitor? It is affecting my status.

A: Hello. When working in an office environment, it is always important to remember that others can (and most likely will) see your computer’s screen, as you have found out. To change your desktop (wallpaper) to something more appropriate, do the following:

  1. Access your computer’s display settings: Start, Settings, Control Panel, Display.
  2. Select the Background tab. You will notice a list of wallpapers (backgrounds), and a preview of the selected wallpaper on this tab. Your current wallpaper will be highlighted in the list of backgrounds.
  3. Simply select another wallpaper from the list, or select None, at the very top, which will replace your current background with the selected background or a simple blue wallpaper if you choose None.

I hope this information helps! Thanks!
