    Assuming you’re doing ‘general home computing’, documents, e-mail & web browsing, an upgrade to 2GB of RAM for a computer you’ve had for 2-3 years will give you a nice performance boost for a very low price.

    If your needs fall outside of this boundary, we’ll need some more details (needs, budget, long term computer plans, system specs) to provide any additional upgrade suggestions. If the computer is more than 3 years old we should take a look at the rest of the system specs (CPU model, video card if you have any intention of gaming) and see if they need any attention as well.
