Do I need a new processor to run Empire Total War smoother or can I get by with just more RAM?

Q: I just bought a game called Empire total war. I have 2GB of RAM and a Q6600 nvidia quad core and a 9300 GTX graphics card and I just wanted to know what would make my game run smoother? RAM or processor?

    Your RAM and CPU are great, you’re severely lacking in video card power. Assuming this is a desktop PC I’d suggest something in the Radeon 4870, or the GeForce 260 – 275 chipset line.

    If those are out of your price range, at least a GeForce 9800.

    If this is a laptop PC, there really isn’t anything you can do to get this game to run better. A fast video card is absolutely critical to PC gaming.
