Is there a reasonably priced tablet pc available today?

by on December 2, 2009

Q: I am wondering if there is a cheap tablet PC, one that can mainly be used similar to a small portable whiteboard that I could use for calculus on the go, for between $700 and $1500. Any help on this subject would be appreciated.

  1.

You first have to ask yourself if you want a keyboard or not. The table pc’s that come with a keyboard can be used as a regular laptop or you can rotate the screen and use it like a tablet. The ones without a keyboard can only be used as a tablet. I would think that one that can be used as a laptop as well as a tablet is probably the way to go.

You can actually find some very reasonably priced tablet pc’s even under your low end. If you want a keyboard you can look at the ASUS Eee PC Touch T91 8.9-Inch Black Tablet Netbook or the TOSHIBA PORTEGE M200 on the low end.

If you do not want a keyboard you can look at the Motion Computing AA43232 LE1600 Tablet PC.

You can see many more options here.

As always make sure to do your research before you spend your money.
