How can I reset my password login when I always use a finger swipe?

Q: I have an HP laptop with fingerswipe login. I forgot my manual login and always have to use my finger to get on. Is there anyway to reset the manual password so that my daughter can use the computer while I’m at work?

    HP should have some information on this specific issue on their support website: http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/support.html

    You’ll need to enter the model number information.

    If you’re unable to find your answer there, you can provide me with model number, your windows version, and if there is any special software involved that handles the finger swipe log in.
