Can I replace my AGP video card with a PCI video card since I have an extra PCI slot?

Q: I fried my AGP video card that came in my PC. Can I just install a PCI video card? I have an extra PCI slot.

    Yes, you can use an old PCI video card. You CANNOT use a PCI-Express video card (the current standard) in this computer at all without replacing the motherboard.
