How can I install Windows 7 over Windows XP without access to my BIOS?

by on March 8, 2010

Q: I want to install Windows XP over Windows 7. I tried to do it in bios but I can’t enter it. On the startup screen it says that I need to hit the F2 button to enter bios, but it requests a password when I do it. I don’t have the password. Is there a alternative?

If this is a desktop PC you can reset the BIOS pretty easily. What’s the make and model of your PC?
