There shouldn’t be anything special you need to do. Just make sure you’ve wired the audio in correctly. Consult your PS3 & DAV DZ280 manuals to make sure all your connections are correct and you’ve selected the correct input on the receiver.

Ps3 doesn’t connect to home cinema. It goes to tv and th home cinema goes to the tv all by hdmi as per the manuals

Might be an issue with HDMI Audio passthru. Try connecting an audio cable directly from the PS3 to the receiver.

Also something else silly to try:

I have a Sharp Aquos with the same setup. No need to call Tech support. Listen to me. Turn your PS3, TV, and Receiver off. You have to turn everything on in this order. Turn on the PS3. Let it boot up for a few seconds, then turn on your TV. Make sure it is on the appropriate input. Then flip on your receiver. It’s annoying, but this is how I get it to work. It seems the TV only checks for audio inputing when it turns on, so if you TV is turned on before the PS3, it never opens up the audio port to allow for a pass through. Let me know is this works.”
