Can I install an nvidia gpu in my ASUS laptop?

Q: I have an ASUS k60IJ laptop. It has 4 GB RAM, dual core 2.20 GHz, 500 GB hard drive but its video card is an Intel with only 1 GB of RAM. I’m wondering if it is possible to install a nvidia gpu on it?

    Nope, you cannot upgrade the video card of a laptop, it’s an integrated component.

    If you want to do some gaming you’ll either need to buy a different laptop, or switch to a desktop so you can do normal hardware upgrades.

    There aren’t any external gaming gpus available for laptops. Asus was working on something like this back in 2007, but it was never released:
